This is a sound matching numbers GT250 K that was last taxed in 1987,so has been off the road for some considerable time ! It's suffered from long hibernation,but is pretty sound,especially the mudguards which are so often rotten. It was missing the left hand side panel when I got it,but I managed to track down a correct one,which will need painting obviously. The seat base is excellent too,and the bike does come with a replacement cover with correct pattern on it. It's got great compression,and I have run it briefly,and it sounded really sweet,but is very oily on the right hand cylinder,so will probably need crank seals after all this time.Inside of the tank is pretty good too and it comes with old style V5 which is still live on DVLA. This is an excellent,straightforward project for someone.
